Very solid choice for lunch or dinner. Pasta selection is good- basic recipes cooked very well. Steak was excellent. Service was generally good with a few small issues - maybe the guy in question is still j der training? I would go back for sure

The food here was really good! I had the oxtail pasta and it was something I could eat every day. We also tried the ragu bianco. The service was a bit confused and it took a while to get to order, but I guess that happens some time. Everyone was very friendly. I also want to mentol the cheap house wine, which was really good.

The meal was truly delightful! We enjoyed two carbonaras, meatballs, a fresh salad, and a dish of meat with arugula and cherry tomatoes. For dessert, we savored two tiramisus and coffee. Everything was exceptionally delicious, particularly the carbonara, which was undoubtedly one of the finest I have tasted in Italy. Furthermore, the service was excellent, and the tiramisu is certainly a must-try.

Best tiramisu in Rome that we so far tasted! Rest was delicious as well, we already recommended this place to all our friends

This restaurant in Rome stole our hearts — again! We discovered it last year and loved it so much, we had to come back. This time, we ordered the steak — cooked right in front of us with fire and flair! Juicy, perfectly grilled, and packed with flavor. Great service, amazing atmosphere, and unforgettable food. If you’re in Rome and looking for a place to eat — highly recommend!

Worth the detour, even straight from the plane! If you’re searching for an unforgettable dining experience in Rome, look no further than this exceptional osteria. During my recent visit, I indulged in their Florentine steak—a dish so sublime it deserves its own accolade. Perfectly grilled to a smoky char on the outside while retaining succulent, tender juiciness within, it was a masterpiece of simplicity and flavor. Every bite confirmed why this steak is legendary, seasoned impeccably and served with rustic elegance. What’s more, this meal was worth rushing from the airport for! The service matched the quality of the food: attentive, polished, and genuinely hospitable. The staff offered thoughtful recommendations, paired dishes with excellent local wines, and ensured every detail felt special. In short, this osteria isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a destination. Whether you’re a steak enthusiast or simply crave an authentic taste of Italy with heartwarming service, don’t miss it.

We had lunch at Osteria Luci in Cucina on a weekday, just the two of us. The place was quite full, but we were lucky enough to get a small table outside. The restaurant is cozy and nicely furnished, with a warm, relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly, though it took about 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order — not a big issue, but worth mentioning. We shared a meatball starter and a plate of rigatoni al sugo di coda alla vaccinara: both dishes were tasty and well prepared. For dessert, we had a “Lucimisù” — their take on tiramisù — which was excellent, and a simple dish of fresh pineapple. The final bill was around €25 per person, including still water and no other drinks, which is fair for the location and quality. If you’re looking for a traditional Roman meal in a central, charming spot near Castel Sant’Angelo, this place is definitely worth a stop. Booking might be a good idea, especially at peak hours
